Lab information

Our laboratory is interested in unraveling the complex relationship between fungal pathogens and myeloid cells, especially the different types of polarization states of human macrophages. We seek to contribute to education in clinical mycology to help the lagging health system of developing countries for the opportunal diagnosis of fungal infections.

Research focus

Candida, microbiome, immunology, inflammation, mycosis
