Research focus
My research interests encompass cancer biology, immunology, haematology, molecular and cellular biology, developmental and regenerative biology, functional genomics, and translational biomedical research. I am interested in the molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern cell identity, immune regulation, tissue homeostasis, and disease progression across development, regeneration, inflammation, and cancer. My work focuses on understanding tumour–immune interactions, cellular plasticity, transcriptional regulation, biomarker discovery, and the biological mechanisms underlying therapeutic response and resistance. I also have a strong interest in multi-omics approaches, including bulk, single-cell, and spatial transcriptomics, to investigate complex biological systems and support the translation of basic discoveries into clinically relevant applications.
